Attorney Wayne Wilson is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, having been admitted to the Bar in 1973. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeal, 7th and 8th Circuits, and the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. A 1970 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wayne earned a BA degree in Political Science, followed by a JD degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1973. Attorney Wilson is a frequent lecturer to various professional organizations concerning issues of Wealth Strategy counseling, with a special focus on programs designed for the professional advisor. He is the co-author of Generations: Planning Your Legacy (1999) and Your Life, Your Legacy (2003 First and Second Edition).
Attorney Wilson is a charter member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and a founding member and past chairman of the Wisconsin Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. He is a Fellow and past-President of EPICOR (Estate Planning Institute of Collaborative Resources), and an active member of Wealth Counsel, LLC, the Illinois/ Wisconsin Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys and the Madison Estate Council. He maintains his professional membership in the Dane County Bar Association, as well as serving in the Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
